Smart Loops has released three new drum SL Sample Sets for SoundFont 2.0-compatible software samplers and sound cards.

These new drum sample libraries are now available as downloads from the Smart Loops web site, for use with Steinberg HALion, Cakewalk Dimension Pro and SONAR, Reason NN-XT, Native Instruments KONTAKT & Battery, and many other DXi/VST software samplers. SL Sample Sets also work with anwww.smartloops.comy SoundFont 2.0 compatible sound cards, including the Creative Labs SB Live and SB Audigy cards.

Smart Loops now offers three SL Sample Sets in SoundFont 2.0 and SFZ formats: the SL Acoustic Kit, SL Thunder Kit, and SL Trap Kit sample sets. These sample sets also can be used in any software sampler that can load .WAV files. Each SL Sample Set provides the user with a complete drum kit, including toms, hi-hats, crash cymbals, ride cymbal, china cymbals, splash cymbals, cymbal chokes, cymbal rolls, and cymbal swells. Each SFZ and SoundFont file includes multiple velocity layers and multi-sample mappings. Smart Loops will announce support for additional sampler formats in the coming weeks.

SL Sample Sets are now available as downloads from http://www.smartloops.com for an introductory price of $39 each, or $89 for all three drum sets.

Users can also download free drum sample sets for Dimension Pro, Project5's Velocity, GigaSampler, DR-008, SoundFont 2.0, and over 100 free audio loops in ACID, REX2, Apple Loops formats from Smart Loops.
